How to make Healthy granola bars!

Today we will be making simple crispy ganola bars. The base of granola bars is made from jaggery to get tht crispy taste if you like your bars soft and chewy then we suggest you to take dates and honey or peanut butter as a base. They taste great and is very easy and not fail recipe. Here you will see whole almonds , cashew, pista, walnuts and seeds like flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds watermelon seeds and seasme seeds. You can add more seeds and nuts as per your taste.

Ingredients required

Badam/ almonds 1 cup

Kaju / cashew 1/2 cup

Pista 1/2 cup

Walnuts 1/4 cup

Pumpkin seeds 1/2 cup

Watermelon seeds 1/4cup

Sesame seeds 1/2 cup

Flax seeds 1/4 cup

Cardamom powder 1/2 TSP

Ghee 1 tbsp

Jaggery 1 and 1/2 cup

Step 1: Roasting Dry Fruits

In a preheated pan we will start roasting dry fruits in low to medium flame to start with we will add almonds , cashew and pista roast all of them together for 3 min then add chopped walnuts and roast again for 1 more min.


Step 2: Adding Seeds

Onces our nuts are roasted well we will add pumpkin seeds and watermelon seeds and roast again for 1 more min then add flaxseeds and seasme seeds and roast till they all are roasted nicely it generally takes 7 to 8 min to roast everything.

Step 3: Working With Jaggery

Melt 1 tbsp ghee on wide pan and melt jaggery to test if jaggery is properly done add few drops of jaggery in water and check if you can form a ball tht means your jaggery is ready then add 1/2 TSP of cardomom powder and mix well

Step 4: Adding Jaggery in Prepared Mix

Now add melted jaggery with dry fruits and mix well then transfer them on baking tray with lined up butter paper spread evenly with babkside of spoon we need to quick doing this as jaggery tends to harden up fast onces it's done give a cut to bars when it's warm as onces it's cooled down we cannot shape them keep aside for half hand hour to set down completely

Step 5: Protein Bars / Garnola Bars Are Ready to Enjoy

Onces they are set for half and hour remove them from baking tray and enjoy this healthy granola bars.
